Strawberry Mint Margarita

Strawberry Mint Margarita

Happy Friday! I’m here today with a sweet and boozy treat for strawberry lovers.

Strawberry Mint Margarita Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries - One of my favorite fruits, these juicy little babies have a sweet and slightly tart flavor. They are a superfruit, loaded with vitamin c and tons of other nutritional elements.

Tequila - Pick your favorite tequila blanco and go with it! I used Tesoro #5 Blanco which is 100% agave, affordable and has a smooth flavor.

Limes - It wouldn’t be a margarita without a little lime in it, right?! Fresh lime juice has the punchiest flavor, but you can also use store bought lime juice, it works just as well.

Strawberry Mint Margarita Recipe Tips

Rinse the Strawberries - Strawberries can be covered in all kinds of chemicals that get sprayed in and around the fields where they grow. To avoid ingesting the chemicals, rinse the strawberries under water before using them.

Adjust as You Go - With every recipe, I recommend tasting along the way and adjust the amount of any of the ingredient to suit your taste.

Strawberry Mint Margarita Variations

Make it a Mocktail - It’s easy, just ditch the tequila and add a little more strawberries and lime juice.

Freeze It Up - Use frozen strawberries or add ice to the blender with the other ingredients to make this margarita blended to slushy perfection!

Low Sugar - For a less sweet version, you can omit the simple syrup and just add a fresh sprig of mint to your glass.
