Lime in the Coconut Cocktail

I’ve mostly seen a version of the lime in the coconut cocktail that includes coconut milk. This recipe is much lighter, using only coconut water, lime, simple syrup, and tequila. I prefer it this way - it’s lighter and more refreshing. This cocktail has quickly risen to the top of my favorites list. I love, love, LOVE this cocktail.
What kind of glass should I use to serve lime in the coconut cocktail?
This cocktail looks best in a tall skinny glass - I recommend a piña colada glass or a colins glass like I’ve shown here.
How to Make a Lime in the Coconut Cocktail
Ingredients
1 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
1 oz tequila
4 oz coconut water
Crushed Ice
Directions
Fill a tumbler full of ice.
In a cocktail shaker, add the lime juice, simple syrup, tequila, and coconut water. Add a handful of crushed ice.
Pop the lid onto the shaker tightly and shake for 10-15 seconds.
Pour the frothy cocktail into the tumbler filled with ice.
