Gin and Tonic
This classic cocktail is the ultimate go-to for gin lovers (like myself). Mix it up in a single glass for a light nightcap or make a pitcher full to share with a party, either way this cocktail is always a hit!
What is a Gin and Tonic?
Gin and Tonics go way back. Originating in Holland in the 1800s, it was invented to help combat disease - a common theme amongst the classic cocktails.
A Gin and tonic is a classic cocktail that has two basic ingredients just as it’s name suggests: gin, and tonic water. The simplicity of this cocktail makes it super easy to customize. Put your own spin on it by adding a flavored syrup or trying a flavor infused gin.
What kind of glass can I serve a Gin and Tonic in?
A Gin and Tonic works best in a collins glass, however, this drink is extremely versatile and would work well in a variety of glasses depending on how strong you’d like the gin flavor to be. A smaller glass, like a tumbler, will mean less tonic water is added and thus create a stronger cocktail.
