Frozen Peach Margarita
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing how to make a frozen peach margarita in three simple steps.
I just got back from a trip to Death Valley and it sure lived up to its reputation. It was 109 degrees and I was really wishing I had one of these in my hand! The perfect refresher on a hot day.
Frozen Peach Margarita Ingredients
Fresh or Frozen Peaches - You can go either way here. I like to freeze fresh peaches, they seem to just taste better! But buying frozen peaches will save lots of time, and I often do that when I’m running short.
Tequila - Pick your favorite tequila blanco and go with it! I used Tesoro #5 Blanco which is 100% agave, affordable and has a smooth flavor.
Limes - It wouldn’t be a margarita without a little lime in it, right?! Fresh lime juice has the punchiest flavor, but you can also use store bought lime juice, it works just as well.
Frozen Peach Margarita Variations
Make it a Mocktail - It’s easy, just ditch the tequila and add a little more peaches and lime juice.
Low Sugar - Simple syrup is completely optional!

Frozen Peach Margarita Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup frozen peaches (about 1 large peach, 1 ½ small peaches)
1 oz tequila blanco
1 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup (optional)
1 cup Ice
Directions
Step One - If you are using fresh peaches - peel peaches with a peeler or a knife, depending on how soft they are. Slice peach pulp away from the pit in the center (similar to coring an apple). Chop into 1 inch cubes.
Place in a freezer safe bag and freeze for at least two hours. You can prep this step in advance and store peaches in the freezer up to three months.
Step Two - Chill serving glass in the freezer while you mix your cocktail.
Step Three - Add frozen peaches, tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup (optional) in a blender. Blend together on the smoothie setting until smooth.
Add ice to the blender. I used about 1 cup of ice (the amount I would place in a glass if I was pouring the cocktail over ice). Blend until no large chunks are visible.
Grab that glass from the freezer and pour the peach mixture into the glass.
It’s ready to enjoy!
Cheers!
